Communications and Marketing Manager
Becca joined Childnet in August 2016 and is responsible for Childnet’s communications output, including overseeing the digital outputs and websites for both Childnet and the UK Safer Internet Centre. A key part of Becca’s role is within the coordination of social media for Safer Internet Day.
Becca is passionate about giving young people a voice in the online safety space, and has directly seen the impact that this can have. Becca has been involved with Childnet since 2011 when she was a part of the Youth IGF Project, representing youth voice at Internet Governance Forums in Lithuania, Nairobi and Azerbaijan. Becca has worked with ICANN as an Ambassador for their NextGen programme, helping young people get involved in internet governance.
Becca graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA (hons) in Broadcast Journalism.
