The Childnet Film Competition Finalists’ Event is a great opportunity for our finalists to meet each other, watch their films on the big screen at the BFI London and find out where they have placed in the competition!
The Finalists’ Event took place on Tuesday 2nd July 2019 at the BFI in London and included a private screening of all the films to the finalists and industry guests.

See your film on the big screen
Over a hundred films were submitted to the Childnet Film Competition 2019, the team here at Childnet had the hard task of shortlisting the top 3 entries in each category. These films were shown at a private screening at the BFI, where our industry judges had the difficult job of decided on the 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place winners!
At the event young people are the stars of the show; taking part in a variety of interactive activities and explaining the messages behind their films to the guests.
What were the prizes?
There were some fantastic prizes up for grabs in the Film Competition 2019 including a DSLR camera, microphone, tripod, camera case and more! All of the shortlisted films also received BBFC accreditation!
