The winners of the Childnet Film Competition 2023 have been announced! Head to the categories below to find out the winners and runners-up in each…
Primary (7-11), Secondary (11-18) and Storyboard (7-18).
UK based schools, colleges and youth groups are invited to create a 2 minute film or storyboard in response to the competition theme:
Time to talk! How can people support each other online?
The Film Competition would make a fantastic online safety provision for your next term, and not to mention a unique opportunity for your learners to develop their skills in media, drama and art all while considering how to stay safe online.
Prizes in previous years have included DSLR cameras, tripods and a professional graphics pen – everything you need to make a fantastic film.
Multiple groups within the same school can submit their own films, and there are no limits on the amount of individual storyboards your school can enter. Why not run a fun session where your class can all create their own storyboards, and see who would like to go on to create a film out of it?
The Childnet Film Competition 2023 is delivered as part of Childnet’s work in the UK Safer Internet Centre, and is part funded by Nominet and the Motion Picture Association.
