World Book Day

5 March 2014

Join Digiduck and Smartie the Penguin in learning about online safety this World Book Day on 6th March 2014!

Technology plays a central role in children’s lives, so it makes sense to tell stories about the online world! Our storybooks help to teach children key internet safety lessons in a fun and engaging way.

Digiduck’s Big Decision is a story about online friendship and the responsibility we all have to be kind online. It helps children to think about how their online actions can have offline consequences.

You can read the storybook for free online or order printed copies from our shop.

The Adventures of Smartie the Penguin is a storybook that reinforces the key message for children to tell an adult if anything worries them online. To help children remember this rule there is a catchy tune!

“Before you click, click, click…
You need to think, think, think…
And TELL someone!”

You can read the storybook for free online and watch the story being told to a group of 4-6 year olds.

Why not encourage children to draw us a Smartie the Penguin poster and send it to us for our online gallery? Get in touch at [email protected].
