Guest blog – Childnet Digital Leaders from Hazelmere Junior School

23 April 2018

The Childnet Digital Leaders from Hazelmere Junior School share their ideas and talk about what they did to celebrate Safer Internet Day 2018.

We are the digital leaders from Hazelmere Junior School. For Safer Internet Day we took a whole school assembly and did one of the SID plays. It was enjoyed by the whole school and they seemed to get the message that images should not be sent without consent.

We have since opened up the ICT suite at lunch time on a Thursday, we call this Cyber Squad and invite anyone in the school to pop in if they need help. We sort out problems like: lost passwords, logging in issues or how to use our learning platform.

Everyone seems to enjoy it, it is quite popular.
