Childnet welcomes Charlotte as School Relations and Administration Assistant

28 September 2017

We’re delighted to welcome Charlotte as the newest member of the Childnet team! We caught up with Charlotte to find out a bit more about what she’ll be doing here at Childnet.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my first week at Childnet and already feel very much at home! It is great to work with such a warm and welcoming team. I am getting stuck into the Digital Leaders programme and learning about all the resources Childnet offer schools.

What does your job as School Relations and Administration Assistant entail?

My role will involve liaising with schools who want to, or are already signed up to, the Digital Leaders programme. I will also be ensuring resource packs are sent to schools prior to Childnet trainings so the Education Officers have everything they need for their presentations.

What did you do before coming to Childnet? How will this help you in your new role?

I have previously worked as a support assistant in primary schools and as an administrator. I will be able to use my experience of working with young people and schools, along with my organisational skills to make sure I help the Childnet projects run smoothly and efficiently.

What part of working at Childnet are you most looking forward to?

I can’t wait to be involved in Childnet events such as Safer Internet Day! I think this will be a great way to see Childnet’s work in action and see how our projects have positively impacted young people.
