Like last year, positive and inspiring use of the internet remains at the heart of our Film Competition 2014 and we have two separate projects in place for primary and secondary aged children. This year the themes revisit the key messages from Safer Internet Day 2014.

Primary Theme

We challenge you to create a 60 second film to tell us…

How would you make the internet a better place for you and your friends?

Secondary Theme

We challenge you to create a 2 minute film expressing…

What does a perfect online world mean to you?

If you would like to register a group of talented young people you know, then visit https://www.childnet.com/resources/film-competition/2014 or send an email to [email protected]. Just make sure your films reach us no later than Friday 20th June 2014 to be in with a chance of winning.

All of our shortlisted finalists will be invited to a private screening of their film at the BFI in London on Monday 14th June 2014, where their film will be shown in front of our judging panel. The young people will be awarded some fantastic prizes for their school/youth group!
