The Childnet website now includes three new Hot Topics on the subject of Critical Thinking, these Hot Topics contain advice for Young People, Teachers and Professionals, and Parents and Carers.

Critical Thinking is an important skill that all online users need in order to navigate the internet safely, and to find accurate and reliable information.

The new Hot Topics are designed to offer advice on how best to support young people as they think critically about the information that is in front of them, weighing up what they know to be true, asking questions, forming judgements and checking with others if they are unclear.

This Hot Topic is aimed at young people aged 11-18 and includes content on:
