#shareaheart for Random Acts of Kindness Day

17 February 2016

Today (17th February) is Random Acts of Kindness Day, a day that makes being kind a priority with the aim of creating a kinder world.

For Safer Internet Day 2016 the UK Safer Internet Centre wanted to inspire a kind, respectful and inclusive internet. To do this we created our #shareaheart social media campaign. To help us spread the love, we encouraged schools, organisations and individuals to take to social media and share their own heart filled messages, images or videos using the hashtag #shareaheart.

As Random Acts of Kindness Day is a day to celebrate and inspire others to make kindness a daily practice we wanted to share some of the amazing hearts you created to help make the internet a better place.

If you want to join in Random Acts of Kindness Day why not sign a Kindness Pledge and make a commitment to helping to spread kindness in 2016.
